Does anyone know between which years the side mirrors are interchangeable on Subaru Legacys? The driver's side mirror on my '98 Legacy has loose glass but none of the junkyards nearby have a '96-'99 Legacy, but one does have a 1991 Legacy and a 2001 Outback.

If any of the interchangeable model years also happen to be larger than the tiny Miata-sized mirrors my not at all Miata-sized station wagon, that would make me happy as well.

Try SL-i.net

They might know. AFAIK only 95-99 will work.

Nice looking 'Buru. Never saw a 98 with 2 tone paint before. I am assuming you had that done. I really like the wheel arches. Can't help with the mirrors. Maybe a forum?

Hmm, as far as I know the paint is factory. It does have the Outback package, which on '97-'98 models was pretty much identical to the Legacy except for a 2" lift and different bumpers.

Did not know about the lift. Mine is a Legacy Outback so I assume it has the lift. I measured clearance against my F-150 at lowest points and it is virtually the same.
